Done during a phototour near Epfenbach, Baden-Württemberg.
This train is the "Sauschwänzlebahn", a historical train. This bridge is the "Epfenbach overcrossing".
You can see a V100. The steam locos will run next year again.

I must add that it's the row of trees on the horizon, balancing the line of track and train, that makes the shot.

The black and white brings out the character of the engine and cars. It would have been pretty in color, but not much more than that. Well done.

I thought about uploading it in colour first, but the sky and the background were overexposed. It was difficult to get a good shot, because it was very foggy.

It's just right as is, with the railway and train sharp and the rest muted. It feels far off and in another time.

Ja, die sind teilweise mit den Namen sehr kreativ. Es gibt Richtung Bayern noch das "Öchsle". Und wahrscheinlich noch zwei andere, die so einen Namen haben.
